Hey friend,
One of the hardest things in life is living in the gap between sowing seeds and reaping a harvest.
Maybe it’s personal or spiritual growth. You’ve put in the work to grow and learn as a person, but you still feel stuck. Or maybe it’s in the realm of parenting. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve felt like I was making all the right moves as a parent and yet it felt like the change wasn’t coming. Or our kids just weren’t learning.
That gap between what you can see and what you can't see can be hard. But that’s where faith steps in. Faith and trust that God is working in the messy middle. It's a bridge between where you are and where he's taking you.
Our campus teams wrestle with this gap every day. They are in the harvest, sowing seeds, and filling the gap with trust that God is doing something they can’t see.
But every once in a while we get a glimpse of the harvest.
This past Monday, we saw some incredible harvest fruit as we heard 30 minutes of stories about what God is doing to transform students. You can read some of those stories HERE.
Here’s a quick hit list of what we’ve seen.
- We’ve met close to 800 students in the last month.
- 30 new student leaders joined us in the harvest and learned to share their faith.
- Over 50 students have decided to follow Jesus this year.
Join us in praising God for these stories. This is a miracle and we are thankful.
This month, the team I lead is working hard to crack the code on how to improve our social media so we can reach and influence more students. Our goal is that we do everything we can so that every college student has a chance to say yes or no to following Jesus.
P.S. I would love to know what’s happening in your world and how I can be praying for you. If you ever feel prompted to reply to our newsletter just know I’ll read it every time.
Keep the faith,
Craig, Kellie, Grayson, Lila, and Jude
